How do I return a package with UPS?
Start the return on the store's website, print the UPS return label they give you, pack the item, tape the label on flat, and drop it at a UPS location. In Freehold, bring it to us at 2103 Devon Dr.
Most online stores walk you through it. You pick the item, pick a reason, and choose UPS as the way you're sending it back. At the end you get a label, usually as a PDF in your email or on the order page.
Then it's simple:
- Put the item in a box. The original box is fine if it's in good shape.
- Peel off or black out every old label and barcode on the box.
- Tape the return label on one side, flat, not folded over a corner.
- Bring it in. We scan it while you wait and give you a receipt.
UPS picks up from us at 4 PM, Monday to Friday. Returns dropped off before 4 leave that day. Saturday drop-offs go out Monday.

Can I return a UPS package without a printer?
Yes. Email the return label to connect@myconnectiontree.com before you come in, and we'll print it at the counter and tape it on for you.
Send the PDF the store gave you, not a screenshot if you can help it. A full-size PDF prints clean and scans the first time. A cropped phone screenshot sometimes doesn't.
Put your name in the email so we can match it to you when you walk in.
What if my return only gives me a QR code?
Call us first at 732-730-5230. Some returns only give a QR code meant for specific drop-off locations, and we'll tell you before you make the trip whether we can take yours.
If the store gives you a choice between a QR code and a printable label, pick the printable label. Any UPS location that takes drop-offs can accept a printed label, including us.
Can I return something to Amazon at a UPS drop-off?
If Amazon gives you a printable UPS label, yes, bring it here. If your return says "no box, no label needed," it can only go to the drop-off locations Amazon lists in your return. Those are specific stores, not every UPS location.
This trips people up all the time. Amazon offers a few return methods, and the location list changes depending on which one you picked. The "no box, no label" option only works at the specific stores Amazon names.
Check the list Amazon gives you. If we're not on it and you want to use us, choose the option in your Amazon return that gives you a UPS label to print. Then email it to us or print it at home, box the item, and drop it off.
What if I don't have a box for my return?
Bring the item in. We sell boxes made specifically for shipping and can pack it for you, then put your return label on it.
Packing is a paid service, and we'll tell you what it costs before we start. If the item is fragile, like dishes or anything with glass, let us pack it. A return that arrives broken can turn into a fight over the refund.
Most return labels are already paid for by the store, so you're only paying us if you need a box or packing.
How do I prove I sent my return?
Keep the drop-off receipt we give you, and keep the tracking number from your return label. Hold on to both until the store shows your refund.
If a store ever says the return never arrived, the receipt shows the day UPS took it from us, and the tracking shows where it went after that. Take a photo of the receipt with your phone so you don't lose it.
If the item is worth a lot, take a photo of it before you seal the box too.
Can I ship a return with a different carrier?
Only if you pay for the shipping yourself and the store's return policy allows it. If you're paying anyway, bring it in and we'll compare UPS, FedEx and USPS for you.
Some stores don't give a free label, or they take the label cost out of your refund. In that case, you're often better off shipping it yourself. Get the return address from the store and bring the item in. We'll pack it, check all three carriers, and you pick. For how they compare, read UPS vs FedEx vs USPS.
No appointment. Bring the return and the label.
