Where to Drop Off a UPS Package in Freehold, NJ

We're a UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet, which means UPS packages that come through our counter go straight into the UPS system. You don't need to find a UPS-branded store or wait for a driver.

A prepaid drop-off takes a minute or two. Walk in, hand it over, take your receipt.

Keep that receipt until the package is delivered. It's your proof of when it left your hands, and if a seller or buyer ever asks, that's what you show them.

A few things that slow down a prepaid drop-off:

• Label folded over the edge of the box. The barcode has to sit flat on one side so it scans. If it wraps a corner, we'll have you reprint it.
• Old labels still on the box. If you're reusing a box, cover or peel off every old barcode. Two barcodes on one box is how packages end up going to the wrong place.
• Tape over the barcode. Clear tape over the whole label is fine. Shiny tape bunched up over the barcode sometimes won't scan.

If you bought the label but don't have a printer, email the label to connect@myconnectiontree.com and we'll print it when you get here.

This is the part that catches people, especially on Fridays. A package dropped off at 4:30 on Friday doesn't leave until Monday. If the date matters, come in before 4.

There's no UPS pickup on Saturday. We're open Saturday 10 to 2 and happy to take your package, but it ships Monday.

Any delivery date UPS gives you is an estimate, not a guarantee. If something has to arrive by a certain day, tell us at the counter and we'll show you which service gives you the best shot.

You don't need a UPS account and you don't need to buy anything online first. We weigh it, measure it, and print the label at the counter.

The mistake we see most is someone taping a big box shut at home, then finding out the size is what made it expensive. Carriers charge by size as well as weight. A light item in an oversized box can cost a lot more than the same item in a box that fits.
